　　每逢周末黄昏，很多英国人家中的电视银屏上都闪耀着穿着华丽的男女翩翩起舞的画面。这就是在英国深受欢迎的电视舞蹈大赛真人秀节目《舞动奇迹》。

　　

　　在2004年，《舞动奇迹》节目一出现在BBC电视屏幕上，它就立刻抓住了电视观众的心。这个节目邀请英国一些著名节目主持人、体育和演艺界明星，跟职业舞蹈演员配对，表演国际交际舞和拉丁舞等。在节目中，四位舞蹈专家现场评分，加上观众的电话投票，并按照所得分数，每周淘汰一对选手，最后一场比赛是三对参赛者角逐桂冠。

　　

　　不少观众觉得整个竞赛过程既有悦目的舞姿可观，而且也紧张刺激。各参赛者也在节目中讲述自己为比赛作准备的经过，增加观众的投入感，而且由于节目老幼咸宜，节目播出时间适中，因此观众数目持续上升。
